Chase team wins top prizes
A TEAM of budding entrepreneurs from Malvern won three top prizes at this year's county Young Enterprise final.
The team, Blu-Genic, from the Chase school, have made an impact in the town with their environmentally-friendly jute bags.
And their efforts have been lauded by the Green Party's Plastic Bags - No Thanks campaign, launched earlier this year.
At this week's final, held at Malvern St James school, were awarded the prize for most environmentally friendly company.
They also took the awards for best company presentation and the Federation of Small Businesses prize for the most entrepreneurial company.
"They really are a go-ahead group of students," said John Palmer of the Chase. "They are on track to make a profit of £2,000."
Blu-Genic had a stall at the recent Fringe May Day celebration at Priory Park, and plan to be at the Three Counties Show next month.
