Away-day Wests win
CHAINWIRE v
WEST MALVERN.
IN division five action, West Malvern opened their season with victory.
Wests put Chainwire into bat after winning the toss and the hosts made 170 from their allotted overs.
In reply, West's Wright and Williams put on 110 for the first wicket. Hall came to the wicket in the 30th over and took control. Williams and Hall expertly accumulated the remaining runs at a canter and victory was registered in the 43rd over.
Williams, finishing on 75 not out and Hall on 39 not out.
