TWO former Chase High School pupils went head to head in the final of the British University Championships Womens Hockey Plate.
The game, which took place in Sheffield, was played between the University of Central Lancashire and Cardiff University.
Representing Cardiff, was Charlotte Lloyd, while former Malvern Hockey Club captain Lucy Smith played for UCLAN.
The game was fast and furious and played to a high standard, with UCLAN winning 5-2.
Smith had a goal disallowed in the first-half, while trying to add to her fantastic total of 41 for the university this season.
